With the holidays coming up, this dish is a great side dish option for dinner with the family or for bringing to a potluck. The best part is that it's super simple and takes only 2 minutes of prep. You could even prep and bake at the location of your dinner party if needed. Asparagus is also great if you need a large amount of something but don't want to be slaving away all day to feed a large group of people.

My serving came out pretty spicy, but I love spice, so make sure to adjust the chili flakes (or omit altogether) according to your taste preference.
This dish would be great paired with a protein such as grilled chicken and starch like mashed or roasted potatoes for a well rounded meal.
Ingredients:
1 lb asparagus, washed and stems removed
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp red chili flakes
1/4 tsp sea salt
pinch of ground pepper
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Place asparagus on lined baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil
3. Sprinkle with remaining ingredients and mix well
4. Bake for 30-35 minutes, mixing after 20 minutes
Enjoy!
