I made this smoothie for a friend when she was in town so she could take it on the road with her for her drive home. She tasted it to make sure she would drink it (she's a pretty picky eater) and proceeded to say "this is the best smoothie I've ever had." Being that she's so picky and I made her a green smoothie, I think it's safe to say that this smoothie doesn't taste like a "green" smoothie. It also has carrots for added vitamins which you can't taste at all. I typically do a 1:3 ratio of fruits to veggies, but this smoothie has a bit more fruit in it. You can always remove one of the fruits and add a veggie if you're looking for something less sweet. Adding some zucchini would be perfect.
You could always add some protein powder of choice, or chia/flax seeds. Adding protein powder would make it a great post-workout drink.
1 frozen banana
1 handful frozen strawberries
3 cups spinach, packed
1/2 cup baby carrots
1/4 cup frozen mango
1/4-1/2 cup of kombucha (I used a peach/pineapple flavor); you could also use unsweetened almond milk in place of kombucha
3-4 ice cubes
Blend all ingredients in high-powered blender and enjoy!
